LrC 10.1 / MacOS 11.1 CR2 files cannot be deleted or moved

New Here ,
Dec 23, 2020 Dec 23, 2020

I am not able to move or delete imported cr2 files to other folders. The message "Error moving files" is displayed every time. The file formats DNG, TIF, JPG can be moved and deleted.

I use MacOS 11.1 and LrC 10.1, my photos stored on a NAS.

Is there a workaround?

You should be able to correct this by going into the Apple> Prefrences> Security & Privacy> Privacy and allow LrC full disk access or allow access under the Files and Folders section. See the screen capture.

Unfortunately this setting does not help. The message only occurs with cr2 files.

Where these RAW files inadvertently locked in camera?

Were these files permissions changed in computer?

Use Finder to look at the files rights/owner.

Have you contacted the NAS vendor for help? Can you move those files ok in the Finder?

As above this is a NAS Software problem. Could be a permissions problem.

The problem does not seem to be on the NAS side, but possibly on macOS 11.1.

The permissions under the NAS user fit, I have tested this without problems.

Under MacOS the CR2 file seems to be listed as some kind of system file.

Can you also understand this?
