Hi, i've noticed Manual Noise Colour adjustments and sharpening being applied to all my images when importing RAW files to LrC and I wish to disable this. I have 'Camera Settings' chosen and on my camera it is set at Standard. This is under the Detail option in the Develop mode in LrC.
I've also tried to create my own preset and unchecked all boxes, but it still adjusts the colour with denoise to the point i'm losing a lot of detail and animals feathers and fur is looking plastic with no detail. Also, when i adjust the sliders to zero, it increases the noise/grain even when iso was 100 so it appears to be introducing noise to the image. Can the colour denoise option be disabled on import?
This is happening on both my Dell laptop and MAC desktop, with both Nikon Z8 and Nikon D850 RAW files.
I'm really hoping this can be fixed, as it's taking me a heap of time to fix the automated adjustments LrC is imposing on my raw images.

The screenshots indicate that the sharpening and color noise are at the default values. If you would rather that they were set to another value, then create new preset with your preferred values and configure the Preset Preferences to use the preset as the camera default. I've attached an example.

The settings that shown in yourscreenshot are the default settings. It worked as designed and isn't a bug.
Workaround: Goto the develop modi and set in the Detailed section the Sharpening, Luminance and Color sliders to zero, Then create a preset, deactivate all options and mark only the Detail options (see screenshot).
Applying this preset on import your pictures.

Why would I check the boxes for Detail? It is these items I don't want any adjustments to be applied? Or is this how to do it?

I think you can safely assume that "standard" noise reduction in the camera is quite a bit more aggressive than the default noise reduction in LrC.

As far as I understand your posting you're don't wish to denoising/sharpening your pictures with the default settings.
So you would have to set the sliders in the develop mode to zero and for these adjustments to take effect in the preset, these options must be marked.

The Raw data needs to be converted into a viewable image, and every aspect of that conversion requires one or another value to be set. Setting a value to 0 instead of default 5 (say) is just as much an active decision as setting it to 10 instead of 5 would be - or, deciding to leave it on 5.
The default processing for a camera JPG does show all sliders zeroed, which makes sense for an already processed image. But all zeroes for Raw conversion would be unlikely to be optimal, nor even conducive to visually judging the image's potential and processing needs.
This difference is most obvious to see with the Color Temp white-balance slider. With a Raw, the Temp slider sets the absolute Kelvin-value you want the image to employ, starting from scratch. With a JPG this same Temp slider does not show Kelvin numbers - but instead, a warmer/cooler scale that further adjusts the image relative to whatever it is already processed to look like, or else simply leaves that appearance alone.
A Raw has no such prior appearance that could be left alone.
