I cant open lightrrom anymore. The message I get is start trial or provide serial number I have an active subscription but ant find any serial number) The big issue is that I am supposed to continue working on 3 blurbbooks in Lightroom on thsi computer and now I wonder if everything is lost. Many years of work that is.
If anyone can help I would be so thankful.

I made bacups of everything (or at least that is what lightroom fooled me to think) So - some bug occured and I am not the only one who experienced this. Therefore you should make a forum for lost work so we can compare data. Also I have paid for a service I did not recieve and now years of work are lost. You should compensate me as I only have the dummies and now insted of making small refinements I have to to it all over again. This is unbelieavable. Are you the one representing Adobes customer service in this case?

Both myself (Rob_Cullen) and @dj_paige are just other users of Adobe Apps. We are not employed by Adobe, neither are we Customer Support. We only volunteer helpful (we hope) advice in the forum when we think it might help a question receive an answer.
So to sumarize, collating your replies-
1) You subscribe to the Photography Plan (20GB). Correct? Paid monthly or Annually?
2) You were using Lightroom CC2015 subscription version (aka v6).
3) You have now installed Lightroom-Classic v12.3
4) You do not appear to have Created Saved Book Collections. if your screen-clip is an indication:
This tab is visible only until you do create a Saved Book Collection.
5) You posted screen-clips of Folders that are PREVIEWS only- Not your image files. Where are your images stored, and are they accessible to the Catalog?
6) Have you found ALL catalogs in your system? (Looking for .LRCAT files.)
7) Have you been making Backups of Catalogs?- where are they located?
8) Do you see Saved Book Collections in any Catalog you can find and open?
9) You mention another computer- "now I cant open Lightroom Classic on the other computer either." Do you have LrC, your CC2015 Catalog, or an upgraded -v12 catalog, and the images files on this 'other' computer?
10) Are you 'Signed-In' with the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App? You stated "I can log in to adobe but when I launch lightroom I get a "we cant verify your subscrption status" " That would be a problem.
So you need-
1) A CATALOG that contains SAVED BOOK COLLECTIONS
2) The photo files available to Lightroom-Classic.
If you don't, then your books are lost.
