Make a Second Copy To: "grayed out"

Installed Lightroom Classic v11.1 on my Mac Mini (M1) running Big Sur 11.6.2. When I try to import new images in the past I was able to check the box above and point to a LaCie external hardrive (formatted for Mac). I have checked as seen in the attachment for permissions. The feature is currently grayed out no matter what I have tried so I don't know where to investigate further to try and resolve this issue so looking for help. Thanks in advance, Ken

Are you Importing in Add-mode? Then this option is not available, as expected.

Please share a screen capture of your Import dialog. This should help others assist you. As previously mentioned, this can be affected by the Import options.

Well it was set to "add" mode and changed it to "copy" and all is working. Not sure how I would have arrived at this fix without this forum so thanks for responding.

So your sorce was a SD or CF card?
