I'm constantly experiencing memory drain in Lightroom Classic. It seems to be a constant issue across all versions of LR, on different computer builds. On the latest versions, it's incredibly frequent and severe. I've noticed that it consistently happens when using auto masks and denoise. It also happens during normal work with brushes and the healing brush.
An interesting observation: the program's performance is affected when the memory exceeds 8GB. It usually reaches 15GB and then stops. It slows down significantly.
My system has 64GB of memory.
Can someone help? What can I do?

Hi, thanks for reaching out, and we're sorry about the delay in responding to you!
Just out of curiosity, do all the machines have identical specs? It would be helpful if you could go to the Help menu in Lightroom Classic, then System Info, and copy the text. You can share the info with us by either pasting it as a reply here or in a text file and sharing the file with us.
Meanwhile, try optimizing the Preferences of Lightroom Classic using the steps mentioned here: https://adobe.ly/47VV34Z
Thanks,
Nikunj

Hi @pavel_3691,
Thanks for sharing the info! Try optimizing the preferences of Lightroom Classic using the steps mentioned in the article I shared earlier. Also, go to Catalog Settings, then select the Metadata tab, and check if the option to Automatically write changes to XMP is enabled. If it is, disable that and check if that makes a difference.
Thanks,
Nikunj
