hi, because lightroom is terrible, I'm stuck in a mode where the menu bar and all panels have disappeared. To have an interface where this is even possible is just poor and a huge waste of time but for the moment I just need to get back to my main library window. can anyone help? screenshot attached

thanks in advance

one possibility: you are looking at Lightroom's secondary window, and need to switch to its primary window or else close the secondary window (F11 key)

otherwise (within the primary window) the side, top and bottom panels of the interface can be hidden / reinstated with Shift + Tab key

What you're seeing is a secondary window on top of the main window.

If you have two monitors, you can configure it to open on the second monitor. (Preferences > Display)

You have probably pressed F11, which is the shortcut for it. Press F11 again to close it, or click the X in the top right corner.

You can also go to Window > Secondary display, where you'll find even more options and shortcuts.
