Hi
I have 2 different catalouges.
1 catalouge that is my major catalouge, this catalouge is partly also synced to mu Adobe cloud.
Second catalouge have I on my Laptop when I'm travelling , this catalouge is NOT synced and is set as Paused i the sync settings.
Since som months ago I always get a warning/message when I'm startin the Lapotop catalouge
I dont want to sync it so I press Cancel , and the it will come again next time I start this catalouge.
Earlier this irritating message did not come after the setting was set to "pause" on that catalouge. *
How can I resolve this ?
Thanks for the answer
I have now tested Method 1, and all settings was back to default values. But NO changes on the anoying message :(:
So I did an other test.
Step 1 , Created a new cataouge and imported in that som test files, everything worked as it should.
Step 2 Imported to the new Cataouge the old catalouge with all files and picture edits, and still everything worked as it should .
Step 3 Changed to the original catalouge, same irritating message againg....
Step 4 Swithched back to the new c

Using 'Pause' is the way to stop the nagging sync alert. You should also make sure that there are no collections configured to sync

The catalouge is "Paused" But I have many Collections that have the same name as in my MainCataloge , None of these Collections in "laptop" Cataloge is set for sync. But could that be an issue ?

Collections with the same name shouldn't be an issue, and with the catalog set to 'Pause' the sync alert dialog should not appear.
Have you tried resettting the LrC preference file as doing so often fixes odd behaviour. The procedure is described in Method 1 in this linked Adobe Help document https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/reset-preferences.html

My conclusion is that something is wrong with the original catalouge that not was fixed with Method 1 described above But is not transferred via an import catalouge. So for the moment I will contine with mu new travel catalouge and delete the forst original one. And the hope for the best in the future 🙂

Good news that you resolved the unwanted sync alert. Sadly, the approach you adopted is becoming an increasingly common fix for multiple catalog related issues.
I'll mark your last reply as providing the 'Correct Answer'. Hopefully, it will help others that experience the same or similar sync issues.
