Move photos to correct folder based on capture date

I went to Japan and forgot to change the time on my camera. On return, I successfully updated the capture time (+13 hours). I organized my photos in folders by date. As a result, some photos are now in the wrong date folder. What is the best way to fix this so that the photos all move to the date they were actually captured?

Thank you,

It's sorely missed feature for which there's no automated option in general.

If you have less than, say, 30 days worth of photos that need moving, it's probably fastest to do it manually.

1. Do View > View Options to ensure that the capture date is showing on each thumbnail.

2. Go to Library Grid view and select a dated folder in the Folder panel.

3. Do View > Sort > Capture Time.

4. Select all the photos that aren't in the correct folder and drag them to the correct folder.

5. Repeat steps 2 - 4 for all the affected folders.
