Moving Image Libraries from one external HD to another

Community Beginner ,

Hello,

I'm a Lightroom Classic (14.1.1) user on a Mac (Sequoia 15.2).  My primary library is currently on an external RAID configured (1+0) SSD hard drive.  This drive is currently FULL and I have a new drive (same configuration, just larger).  I have followed the instructions on how to move libraries within LRC.  However, it is so SLOOOOOOOOOwwwwwwwww.  At this rate, it will take aproximately two weeks to transfer it all over.  Is there a faster way to accomplish this without losing my flags or adjustments?

If I were to just use Finder (in Apple OS), transfer my images over to the new drive and get LRC to find the new location, would the flags or adjustments be still there?

Thank you in advance.
