Multiple HDR operations at once

I shoot a lot of HDR pics and I would love to be able to use control option on multiple files at once.  I can get three going at a time without a problem but more than three usually freezes LR.  Would be very nice if it would do one at a time and query the rest.  Im working on a new Macbook Pro so it shouldn't be the computer.

Many people have asked for the ability to do batch HDR and panorama mergers.  Please add your me-too vote and details about your situation to this feature request in the official Adobe feedback forum: Lightroom: Ability to batch process Photo Merge (HDR and panorama) | Photoshop Family Customer Community .

Yes, lounching multiple background operations slow down the computer. HDR needs to read a bunch of files (at least 3) and combines them into a heavy HDR file. It's probably on the i/o side (disk access) where there is a bottleneck ... also on recent hardware.

I agree but is there a way to have LR comple one at a time so I can select multiple HDR tasks at a time. I shoot a lot of real estate and shoot around ten bracketed shots per house.  Time is important for me and the agent I'm working for.

Make a feature request: Photoshop Family Customer Community

(You may first look if there is not a request, that fulfills your needs and vote on that one)

If I understrand correctly, when you combine three pic to an HDR it works fine. If you try to merge more, for ex. five, pictures  it doesn't work.

It could be a problem with the compatibility of your graphic card or the driver. Try to disable the GPU support.
