Hi!
I've updated ACR, Lightroom Classic (v14) and Photoshop.
When I open a DNG or Canon CR3 Raw file in Photoshop, ACR opens and I can see and apply the new adaptative color profile (beta) to the file.
...But, the very same file opened in Lightroom Classic does not show the new option, in the Profiles panel.
Am I missing somenthing?
AK
The new Adaptive Profile is a public beta in ACR only. It is not yet in any of the Lightroom apps.

So, the same with the new Denoise function?...I keep getting the old Enhance Preview panel in LRC.

Yes, that too is only in ACR at this time.

So, I can't use the most intersting new features in my LRC workflow?...Way to go, Adobe...

These a brand new developments. Implementing them in the Lightroom apps takes extra time. Would you rather have Adobe not showing you these developments and not letting you try them in ACR, until they are ready for Lightroom too? Because that would be the alternative...

Yes, I would prefer to wait for things to make sense.
As it stands, it is a mess.
I have, both, Photoshop 2025 and Photoshop (Beta) installed. Plus Lightroom Classica. Plus, obviously, ACR.
I must constantly stop and think what I want to do to a particular photo in my workflow, to figure out which one to use.
Things are becoming increasingly more confusing (…I also occasionally use LR CC on my Samsung S8 tab…).
…For instance, why is are the tools arranged differently in ACR from LR?
Simply annoying…

You are completely free to not use ACR to test this out! You are also completely free to uninstall Photoshop beta if you get too confused with all the options to test out new technology.

Agreed - after all this time, Lightroom Classic's core should just BE ACR; i.e., when Adobe updates Camera Raw, the core features of Photoshop, LRC, and LR should all be updated at the same time because it's THE SAME CODEBASE.
It really IS silly to have a feature show up in ACR and NOT in Lightroom.

Ja wolę poznawać nowe funkcje w ACR i dobrze ze tak te nowości testują. A jak nie chcesz z tych funkcj korzytsat to przecież nie musisz. Niektore funkcje beta w ACR trzeba wlączyć. To je możesz wyłączyc i masz wtedy ten sam przepływ pracy co LrC 🙂

I have my own personal view of this issue.
The Adobe Photography plan is Photoshop which includes Bridge, Adobe Camera Raw.
It also includes Lightroom Classic which is an alternative to Bridge and Adobe Camera Raw so you can make your choice to include either one in your workflow.
Also included is the Creative Cloud ego-system Lr desktop and Lr Mobile.
My choice is to use LrC as my option to work with my RAW image and use the default option which is not to select "Automatically write metadata to XMP" and I do not use the manual option to save info to the files, so I know the info is in the Catalog.
If I wish to utilize Adobe Camera Raw I would select the images outside LrC an use Bridge/ PS to open the image/s which will open the images in ACR where you can do your edits then complete your work and save to a tiff. This leaves your LrC work secure.

There is an unusual workaround that many of us have employed for years. You can go into ARC and create a preset that uses the Adaptive feature.
That preset will the show up in LrC, and while you will still have to modify it for LrC, it still makes use of those functions. But LrC does change the preset from Adaptive to Camera Clear, while still retaining the settings and look that you made in ACR.

This is not a workaround and will not work in the current version 14.1.1 of LrC. Users will just have to wait for LrC to get the Adaptive Color Profile in a future version.

Why is it the Adaptive Color Profile not working with CR3 photos?
