New computer Old LR program

I have a new(er) computer and would like to put my old LR 4 on it as it is just for pix upload/edit/file change. My download links are not working, per ADOBE, only the windows platform is no longer avail. Where can I find the Mac OS version? 2012 to be detailed on year bought.  I actually transferred the program from computer to computer, it loads, but crashes when I try to import. Any help would be FANTASTIC.....Thank you

You won't find a download at Adobe (or possibly anywhere else!). Lr4 has not been supported for many years.

On a "newer" Mac you will not be able to install Lr4 which relies on some 32bit components. New Macs are 64bit only.

Choices-

Continue using Lr4 on your old system, or

Subscribe to the {Lightroom Plan 1TB} for the latest version that is called "Lightroom-Classic v14.5.1"

Thanks Rob, I appreciate the feedback and quickness. My LR4 is 4.1 and it is a 64 bit.....the "newer" computer that I am on is a 2020. I am still holding out for hope that it is just missing something from transfer and that an actual proper download can fix. I would love to keep my older computer-Love it, but it needs to go in to be fixed and I have a feeling it will then come to a replacement option. If they offer me like for like then it should be no issue, but more than likely put me where I am now with this replacement computer.

That may be true, but the installer is a 32-bit program. And MacOS, in particular, is very restrictive when it comes to older software. Older software won't run on newer versions of MacOS.

You can download LR 4.4 from the Internet Archive (a trusted repository of old Internet content):

I just verified that the download works, beware that it can be very slow (many minutes).

But as mentioned already, Mac OS 10.15 and later won't run the LR 4.4 32-bit installer.
