I love the AI powered lens blur. Works so well with my pictures and so easy to use. Very nice!!

One of the issues I do have with this is it doesn't aways recognize foreground from background. Especially if there is a busy foreground that shows a lot of background through the subject, i.e. such as a fence or a row of small trees. It is a bit of a pain to try and isolate but it can be done manually. I have shots of subjects mid depth and it did a great job detecting and isolating in an in picture natural frame. However it did not detect laterally as well.

very useful and nice function.
readjust the focus using a brush, for example if a line is missing, this would make the whole thing even rounder

edit: I have now noticed that this already exists.
However, I would like to see more flexibility in terms of how strong the focus is

It's ok but I'd rather be able to apply lens blur to a mask. The visualize depth section is hard to use if the subject I do NOT want blurred is hard to detect from a background due to similarity of color, etc. I can't really use the brush because I can't see the image....I can only see the visualize depth colors. You could also include an option to turn off the overlay which would help.

Je viens tout juste essayer ce filtre sur une photo amateur de 1960, je suis assez content du résultat.

The blur and adjustability of the blur is awsome.
The selection of the subject how ever not so. 😞 as well as the "manual" adjustment. It might be possible to get a picure to look realistic but it takes so long to get the selection right, it is quicker to do the job another way.
Ai Subject seletion done well i guess is not that far away? I am looking forward to that. 🙂
a tool to help the ai work out what edges matter and what don't would be a big step, if its possible?

Great feature. Works best when the bokeh is already good. Love the feature to move the DoF.
Would be nice to have it as an option in the Sync/Copy menu so it can be applied to multiple photos at once.

Used on an elephant spraying mud over itself. Totally green background, and totally dark grey elephant including the mud and water spraying over the top of itself. the blur unfortunately only grabbed the main body of the elephant, and none of the spray which is the same color and easily diferentiated from the green background. It blurred the spray and mud over the top of the elephant along with the background... Hopefully the masking can get smart enough to color recognize. So in my first case trial, it didn't work for me.

The ability to brush depth in while using the "visualize depth" function would be greatly improved if you can choose brushdepth via color to match the depth you want.

The feature seems to work reasonably well ,but the boost option seems to give no extra effect. Needs the AI selection refining as if there are parts of the image that are not contigiouse the aI does not recognise them and a pain to add using refine - the same image in the mask option selects perfectly!

It would be nice to be able to change the type of brush when refining. Unless there is a way and I just havent figured it out yet.

I purposely tested this on a photo that I knew would be challenging for the tool. I think the tool handled it fairly well, but struggled with selecting what to defocus depending on background and subject. Again, I purposely tried to throw it some curveballs but I could see myself using it coupled with the right photos.

Not read all comments so apologies if already mentioned but would be much better if this tool could be used after creating masks. I didnt have any success painting back areas I wanted in focus using the refine option.
Sorry If I'm missing something!

Issues with Early Access Blurred Lens and Neural Filter Photo Recovery
During editing or downloading, the desktop goes into tilt and the screen goes black after automatically rebooting the desktop.
It seems as if a previous startup operation or download in the program was not properly deleted.
Can you help me

I used lens blur on an image of a peron standing in her garden. The lens blur did a great job exept for the top of her hair. The flowers in the background look like a crown on her head.

@Gittlebug Have you tried the Refine tools to define the Blur and Focus areas?
