If you encounter GPU driver issues while using ML features in LrClassic/LrD/ACR, please try to update to the latest macOS version or if you are on a Windows machine, follow https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/troubleshoot-gpu.html to update your machine to the latest GPU driver and see if the problem resolves itself.
If the OS or the driver is not available or possible and the problem persists, then try the following

I've been using lens blur a lot and I love it. I love that you can adjust the depth of field, how you can add or subtract using a brush, and how you can adjust the amount of blur. I also love that you can add different types of bokeh as well. Well done Adobe.

absolutely love this feature.
however it seems to be killing my machine and I have to restart lightroom each time I use it. the memory and vram usage is extreme and doesn't seem to be released after the use.

Im using it from Time to Time. Works great for me at wide angle Portraits that i had to take at close Aperture. It's adding some Spice, so all Levers need to be used wisely

I just used it on a job I had today and it was fantastic! Worked perfectly and was exactly what I needed.

I had some issues with this filter a few days ago. Those issues seem to have been resolved, and I can now give about 95% approval on this feature. I am a big fan of shallow DoF, with a pleasing Bokeh in my images. I just got excellent results, except for a few minor masking issues. I have used the Field Blur feature in PS for years. As masking is a challenge with Dof FX created in post, there is typically a soft glow around the subject as a result of blurring. This can be avoided with Field Blur by using MANY control points. But this is challenging, and imperfect. THe new lens Blur feature did an excellent job of detecting & masking the subject, except for minor masking issues. The bokeh looked convinceingly real.

The effect of using it on png pictures or layers is not ideal. The center of the layer is blurred and the edges are still sharp.

The blur worked pretty well. The graphics were not very clear as to what they were supposed to do so it was trial and error on the various modes and then a whanging exercise with the slider as to what was wanted. So it does not seem to have a way of setting an objective process. More explanation would of course help. In my picture the subject was well defined and now stands out from a blurred background. It needed to recede and be blurred while retaining its general contextual effect. I would also have liked to be able to smooth the brights and darks so that the brighter areas were less distracting. In practice this will need to be done back in PS with layers and masks.

I like this feature, but if there were a tool to edit what is/isn't being blurred, it would make it even better

It is a great tool that is easy to use and helps my DOF on the subject.

For my bird photography, I find that when my image includes a bunch of branches, the lens blur tool doesn't cover all the spaces in between the branches - only larger areas - so the blur is inconsistent/patchy. If that could somehow be remedied, it would be a perfect tool for me! Still love playing with it for images without busy branches. Thanks!

Running under Windows 11 with all updates applied. i9, RTX4090 with 32GB RAM. Clicking on Blur or Focus doesn't always do anything. The spinning wheel shows for a few seconds, but then when you run the selection over the image, nothing happens. Swithing blur off and back on again, or flipping between blur and focus doesn't do anything. The only way I have found to resolve this is to shutdown LRC and to restart it again

I found it to be very good, very resource heavy at some points. Ryzen 9 5950X 16 Core. 64GB RAM. RX 6900x 16GB
I found it to be very resource heavy when going back to a Mask to edit it.
Without Lens Blur enabled editing a Mask
With Lens Blur on editing a Mask.
Yikes.

Good on wide Boken areas, but I notice some artifacts in the finer details around the edges of my subject... In this first image I used a very low percentage of blur, and selected the Boken that gave the best results. I also had the depth slider all the way to the left, but I could not correct the bluring on the crest of the bird. The second picture is the source image (exported as a .jpg) without using the blur. The image was shot in raw.

It might have been said already, but I would like to see a custom feather. This is especially true for blur in front of the subject

Feature is working well. Suggest adding mask/edge control: feather/add/subtract with brush etc. as per Camera Raw Masing function. Also for masking: Shift Edge plus/minus would be helpful.
For multiple subjects/objects: "Add/Subtract subject/object" with sticky lasso, etc.
Quality masking is the key to Bokeh FX in Post.
