If you encounter GPU driver issues while using ML features in LrClassic/LrD/ACR, please try to update to the latest macOS version or if you are on a Windows machine, follow https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/troubleshoot-gpu.html to update your machine to the latest GPU driver and see if the problem resolves itself.
If the OS or the driver is not available or possible and the problem persists, then try the following

Can custom presets be added? I have noticed it does stall and goes unresponsive for 10 -20 seconds between brush strokes for sharpening.

Is there a way of painting on the on the auto mask? This would be fantastic if incorporpated in the masking section.

I encounted an out of memory error on the graphics processor in Photoshop, to which the GPU accelaration was disablled.

It would be great to be able to darken or lighten a blurred background.

I tried out lens blur and found it strange. It blurred the hair on the subject. In the background it blurred parts of things, like the corner of a quilt., part of a cushion, some of the wood paneling in the baclground but not all, and part of an electrical cord. I hope you can fine tune this because I was excited when I saw it in LR. I have a 2015 Mac, so that may be the problem?

It's just guessing what should be blurred. You can "erase" the blurr effect in areas that should not be blurred.

Pressing the "focus" button will allow you to selectively remove the blur from the areas where you want it in focus. Conversely, using the "Blur" button will allow you to selectively remove the focus from areas where you want it blurred

This seemed great at first but then I started noticing a jagged sharp edge around my subjects hair separating them from the blurred background. Maybe some sort of glitch?

I'm not finding this blur tool useful because the "visualization" just doesn't "visualize" very well for me. I can't make sense of the veritable rainbow of shades on my screen and it's hard to tell what's bluring, what's not with any precision. While the blurry parts are by definition variable in blurriness, the subject which I need to stay tack sharp is not apparent....I wind up painting like crazy over the subject. Is there a better way to depict/preview the blurriness vs remaining sharpness? Thanks

Not sure if this has been mentioned but adding an eye dropper feature to paint in a specific blur amount with the "Vizualize Depth" enabled would really help in adjusting fine features within the mask.

Hello,
I really like this feature and would very much like to use it with more control such as in Photoshop with a selection tool implemented to add more accuracy. Great addition. Thank you.

I think this will be wonderful when perfected. Right now it takes much too long on my computer, i.e. several minutes before it finishes processing. I have 32 GB RAM and a processor that is about four years old, so I don't think it should be this slow.

With regular mistakes of depth analysis, having the same tools as for masking (object, luminosity, person, etc.) would be really helpful for refining the depth mask. At minimum the object selection tool would be available.

I applaud Adobe for adding this type opf edit. I'll try it on some other images. The one image I selected from my inventory didn't seem to make much of a change as I worked through the Lens Blur sliders and various options. But I think I saw enough it promises to have a positive impact. Jim

Works fairly well. Definitely needs a tool to unblur certain areas sincee it has a little trouble on close up white areas instead of focusing primarily on backgrounds.
