If you encounter GPU driver issues while using ML features in LrClassic/LrD/ACR, please try to update to the latest macOS version or if you are on a Windows machine, follow https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/troubleshoot-gpu.html to update your machine to the latest GPU driver and see if the problem resolves itself.
If the OS or the driver is not available or possible and the problem persists, then try the following

It's probably already been suggested, but I'd like the possibility to mask an area with the available tools and then, apply Lens Blur to it

I loved it. I started with 6 iPhone HDRImages, took them into lightroom, merged them into an HDR Panorama, and used the blur on that result. Bazinga! Its great!

I just experimented with Lens Blur in a few portraits using LRC. It seemed to perform as I expected and I think it will be a nice additional tool.

I used the lens blur and found it did exactly what I was looking for. The use was intuitive

I'm not a heavy processor of images prefering the 'what you see is what you get' but have just tried the blur tool on some photo's from the local zoo - few shots of the wolves with fencing in the background - applied the AI tool and really really surprised at how well it worked, wolf still pin sharp, fence gone completely.

The blur obtained is not harmonious it is rather rough I cannot refine it.

Hi, @Tartinette, I'm not sure I understand what refining you cannot do. That is unless you missed the Focus and Blur refinement at the bottom of the window. By using the same "Amount" slider, you can affect whether the added blur or focusing is a lot or a little (artist's perspective).
Does that help?

@gary_sc. Hello ! Thank you very much. Your reply will definitely help me. I like very blurred, smooth looking backgrounds, and I did not see the sliders you showed on your reply. Thank you very much indeed.

Hi, @Tartinette perhaps you might want to click on my answer as a "Correct Answer." That might help others looking for the same solution.

Add a mask option so you can fine-tune the subject. Hairs or blades of a flower.

Love the feature, but it does not do a good job with hair, creates a halo around the hair

When I select "Visualize Depth" and adjust the slider of in focus range, the photo is colorized opposite of what I expect: the selected focus range is turned gray while the unselected part is colorized.

I feel it needs an option to add or remove areas as the subject mask version is not 100% accurate and could not use it because it kept thinking the clients flora print shirt was part of the background...

Have you tried using the Focus and Blur options to tidy up any areas which you are not happy with?

Loving it, but its slow and takes too long to make adjustments. I suggest that you disconnect the focus and blur brushing action from the processing in the background. You should enter brush mode, pausing processing until the user is satisfied with the focus and blur brush positions, then provide a brush to apply. Without this, the cursor goes away and lightroom spins in the background for any movement of the focus and blur brush.

I shoot a LOT with wide angle (14-30mm). Most of the time, I want the extended depth of field, but once in a while, it's a problem. When that happens, lens blur essentially removes a distracting background when I come up with a foreground that needs to stand alone. Thank you!! This is a game-changer for me!

I've been editing quite a few macro images lately and have been applying the new blur tool to provide separation between the subject and background and create out of focus color/bokeh. I find it very useful and it works flawlessly on my MAC Studio. The ability to move the out of focus area is also very useful. I'm really happy with it. While there other programs that do this, its very handy to have it in PS and LRC. because I use both programs in my post image editing.

It took my subjects ears off, ahah. I couldn't help but laugh. I'm not sure if it was his skin tone but there was a very clear distinction in colour from the background so just wanted to mention that could be conserning.

There should be an option to add with a brush to touch up areas! I love this though!
