If you encounter GPU driver issues while using ML features in LrClassic/LrD/ACR, please try to update to the latest macOS version or if you are on a Windows machine, follow https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/troubleshoot-gpu.html to update your machine to the latest GPU driver and see if the problem resolves itself.
If the OS or the driver is not available or possible and the problem persists, then try the following

Playing around with Lens Blur for a few hours and I am very happy with this feature as it helps those of us who are poor and can not afford fast glass. I am having a few problems with the stray hairs, but this was my failing in not correcting them before using the Blur feature, This is truly a welcome addition to LRC. Thank you.

Loved the blur and focus, right off the bat I didn't have a problem. I would like to be able to toggle off and on to see the difference. But exciteed to continue to play around. I think it's a great addition.

There is an eye icon on the left of the section title bar. You can press and hold to toggle it off temporarily.

I think it's looking pretty good. I was expecting it to look digital, but it does look quite optical. Nice job. Looking forward to seeing the refinements suggested by others here.
Very happy to see all the work that's going into LR these days. In the near future, I hope this ingenuity can carry over to performance improvements in the Library Module, too.

IMHO it could use a Subtract/Add masking feature to correct for the subject not being selected accurately. You could use the brush tool to tweak the subject selection

I just played around with the lens blur, loving the way it looks! Only complaint would be to figure out a Solution so that fly away hairs dont look so unnatural .

Looks great - a progress bar, rather than a spinny circle to give an indication of wait time during analysing would be helpful.

The Blur isn't 100% accurate. So used the focus mask. Despite setting the feather to zero the resulting focus on the right hand (the Blur miss) has fuzzy edge, unlike the clean well define edge.
Need to improve the way focus masking with feather = zero works. I did the focus mask with zero feather at zoom-in.
Attached is the depth map before and after and the before and after photo.

It's very helpful. I will say that high contrast edges of buildings against sky seem to have some very severe artifacts in my case above a blur amount of about 40

Hi. I am struggling to get this feature to work in a predictable manner. At the moment the blur seems to be applied in patches across the image with no correlation to the depth. For example with a clear image of a person wearing a hat some parts of the hat are blurred but others are left in focus.

This sounds like a bug. Can you share screenshots showing the effect you are seeing?

lens blur works great, will a future update allow it to be copied / synced to other photos?

I tried it on an old jpg and noticed that if I blur the front it blurs my logo as well

This is an awesome addition to Lightroom Classic. I took a picture of four cars crowded onto a museum floor and was able to adjust the focus with the tool to have one of the cars in mid-ground in-focus, another car very slightly behind the plane of the first car out-of-focus, another car even further back out-of-focus, and a partial car in the foreground out-of-focus. Then I selected the subject, inverted the selection, and slightly lowered the exposure level of everything except the feature car. I exported the photo into Topaz Photo AI to get rid of the noise (it was a poorly lit museum). The result was relatively quick and easy to accomplish, although the focus sliders were not intuitive for me to use.
