Pressing space bar in masking mode turn on option for Show Edit Pins instead of Zoom in/out

Hello.

I am experiencing issues with LrC when pressing the space bar while in masking mode, the option for Show Edit Pins is highlighted instead of allowing me to zoom in/out or move the image. 

Please help!

You need to use the 'Z' key when Masking panel is open. The same applies when Remove panel is open.

Yes, pressing Z will zoom in/out while in masking and remove mode, but I can not pan as I mentioned in my original question.
