Primary and Secondary Computers behave differently with originals stored on NAS

Adobe Team,

I am currently running into an issue with Lightroom Classic on my non Primary PC. I have my images stored on a NAS. When I edit, move, or otherwise alter the image files in any way I have no issues on my primary PC. However on my laptop (Secondary PC), were having issues doing anything as far as editing, altering or moving photos around in Lightroom Classic. When I edit a photo it acts as if everything runs as advertised, But As soon as I go to edit another photo the application does not show that the previous photo was edited and looks as if it was never edited. I tried to remedy the issue by using a LAN connection (I have 2.3GB Wifi) with no luck. Is this a known issue or is there any solution to the problem I am having.

Thanks,

Mac or Windows? Which version of the OS?

Which exact version of LrC?

Where is the catalog stored?

So where's the catalog? Is it on the NAS? That's a no no for Lightroom.
