I purchased a new computer and have had no problem copying the Lightroom database and photo catalog over. I also copied all the user presets I created. When I go to the print module all the user preset names are there but the settings are not correct. Do I need to set up the printer settings from scratch or can I get those settings from somewhere on the old computer?
IIRC- I believe you will need to-
1. Select one of your 'User' Print Templates,
2. Go to [Page Setup...] > Printer options
3. Set your Printer options- selecting the Printer connected (this will use the printer driver installed on the new computer), and [OK]
4. [Right-click] on the Template and choose [Update with Current Settings]
5. Repeat steps 1-4 for each User Template.

Hi mrdavie99,
Sorry that the printer settings in Lightroom have changed after you've migrated to a different computer.
Please note that the Print settings dialog is managed by your printer and operating system. I'd recommend that you update your printer preferences and drivers and see if that helps.
Thanks,
Akash

What OS and what printer?

You may have installed custom printer drivers on your previous machine that don't match up with generic on your new. Ensure everything as up-to-date as possible on the new system.

Yes. That’s what I’ve had to do. Fortunately, I remembered the nuances of printer setup for ICI profiles, etc. The challenge with technology is remembering setup parameters after some time has passed. I take notes, but then there is the burden of remembering where I filed them.
