Hi,
this is not Lightroom-specific but I am posting here assuming that other Lightroom users may have seen the same issue.
x-posting to Canon forum as well.
I have been printing on a Canon PRO-100S on Canon paper from LR Classic with excellent results... until "something" happened, possibly to the drivers but perhaps to the printer.
This coincided with upgrading to Mac OS 14.2.1 (Sonoma).
The entire printing workflow is fine-tuned, incl softproofing using the correct paper-specific Canon colour profiles for the printer and the paper I use (eg Canon Pro Luster), setting colour management in LR to the same colour profiles , matching printer setup to the LR printing setup: colour matching correctly disables (as it's handled by LR), media type correctly set for the target paper, etc.
Wonderful results for a long time, until some colours are now suddenly out of control.
I have attached a standard Fuji test image and a snapshot of the best test print of it I could produce (you will have to trust that the shot reflects the actual printed colours).
I have tried both the Apple drivers that come with the OS through AirPlay, and the latest Canon-supplied driver 16.80.0.0. Same results.
Any idea what may be happening??
I get the same when I print using Canon's own printing app ("Image Garden") and others.
config summary:
Canon PRO-100S with 16.80.0.0 MacOS driver
Mac OS 14.2.1 (Sonoma)
Lighroom Classic 13.2
thanks! --Paolo

This issues sounds more related to Sonoma than Canon or Lightroom. Rolling back is painful but if printing is your number one priority Sonoma is likely the culprit. In working with clients having new issues with their longstanding print workflow the common denominator is Sonoma.
