Bonjour,

Are the photos not imported shown in color "grey" in the Import dialog box?

Can you describe the problem in more detail? What kind of photos, RAW or JPG or other? What does happen?

The format isn't really an issue, but if it's a new camera it may not be supported yet. You don't mention the camera. Generally if a camera is supported and not importing correctly, the Preferences may need to be reset.

Thank you Sean. My camera is a Canon R6, not really new. So I try to reset preferences in lightroom and will share the result...

Command + Shift + 3 will make a screen shot. Command + Shift + 4 lets you click and drag out a rectangle to capture.

You have Do Not Import Suspected duplicates turned on. Lightroom uses this to determine if a file is already imported by looking at the date stamp, the filename and the file size. So either the files are actually already imported or files matching the other criteria are.

If you're not using a date destination, use the Filter Bar (short cut \) and check the Date column to see if a date matches the date the photos were taken. This will show you if you've photos already in the catalog.

Please search for the photos in your LrC catalog by following all four of these steps.

1. In the Lightroom Classic Library Module, on the left, under Catalog, click on All Photographs
2. Turn off all filters (Ctrl-L once or twice)
3. Turn off all stacking (Photo->Stacking->Expand All Stacks)
4. Search for at least one of these photos by file name using the Lightroom Classic Filter Bar
