Problem with Application of LR Classic Develop Presets

I’ve encountered an issue with LRClassic Presets on my desktop and am wondering if you have had this happen and what I might do to ‘repair’ the problem.

Am running LR Classic V9.4 with Camera Raw 12.4 on a MAC desktop, with OS = High Sierra V 10.13.6. Recently an issue has developed with my Develop Presets in LR. In the Develop Module when I hover over a Develop Present in the left panel I can see the changes that the preset would do to the LR settings, like exposure, etc - however when I actually click on the preset to apply the changes it no longer applies them. The image remains unchanged. This is very new, only started to happen this week - before I could click on a develop preset and it would be applied to the image.

To my knowledge/recollection, I’ve made no changes to the LR Classic program during this time - no updates, etc.

Any idea how to get the preset's settings to actually be applied to an image?

Try resetting LR's preferences:

LR sometimes soils its preferences file, and resetting it can fix all sorts of wonky behavior. That article explains how to restore the old preferences if resetting doesn't help.
