Buenas tardes.
A colleague asks me if there is a way to recover raw files and their corresponding editing deleted from Lightroom Classic by mistake. The raw file goes to the trash and you just need to restore it and sync the folder. Are there any way to recover the changes made to the reveal module, or is it impossible?

If your colleague had written metadata to the file (Ctrl + S), or enabled the option Automatically write changes into XMP in the catalog settings, the edits would have been written to a sidecar XMP file for proprietary raw files, or to the file header for DNG files. The XMP would include the edits, but not History steps and some other metadata. (for instance ratings and collections)
If no XMP was written, the only option would be to restore a backup catalog from before the the files were deleted.

I should add that if XMP had been written to the file, it would probably be necessary to select the file in Library and go to Metadata > Read metadata from file after recovering the file (and the XMP file) from the trash.
