Recover my lost Photos!!

I exported a catalogue to my desktop and lightroom has deleted all my edited photos apart from the catalogue I exported to my desktop.  How do I recover my photos??!! HELP!!

This doesn't sound like the way LR works.

It sounds like you accidentally opened the wrong catalog file. Please try using the menu command File->Open Recent and then open each catalog shown there until you find the one your want.

Do you mean the photo files ? What do you see when you open the catalog?

If you see your images as thumbnails with question marks, you will simply need to reconnect the catalog with the location of the image files. You simply click on one question mark, then you use the dialog boxes to browse to where the photo files are located. When you find the one you selected, you will get another dialog box asking if you want to reconnect all the other image files in that group.
