Hi,

I have accidently deleted photos I have edited in Lightroom from the disk (not through lightroom).

I have now found the photos, but when I try 'Sync photos' to 'Find missing folder', I can't see the photos again in Lightroom and even if to does, it does not keep the editing.

How can I restore the editing with the "new" found photos?
Thanks a lot for your time and help!!!

Sync photos is not the answer. Remove the photos that have no edits that you did the sync on from Lightroom Classic (but not from the hard disk)

The simplest method is to move the photos (using your operating system) to the folders Lightroom Classic thinks they are in. If you're not sure where Lightroom Classic thinks the photos are, find them under "All Photographs" in LrC and then the metadata panel on the right will tell you what folder LrC thinks they are in.
