Selecting to Edit in Photoshop 2024 no longer bringing up the PS Beta

I'm using LR Classic 13.5 and have both the NON beta of PS  v25.11.0 and the latest Beta 25.12 installed on my PC (Win 11).

Up until recently, chosing to edit in Photoshop from LR brought up the Beta, which is what I want. Now however, it has started bring up the NON beta PS 25.11.0.

How can I fix this?

TIA - Richard

I see that the Adobe documentation on this is lacking.

Searching yields some poor possibilities

Now, I do not have Beta, so not such a great adviser on this.

I am not at all sure, if in the Edit In photoshop, you should have been able to select Beta or non Beta. The What is new documentation mentions exactly squat.

I am not sure if you are supposed to go into /Preferences/External Editor/ and change it. That would be cumbersome.

And, I assume that you already launched PS Beta by itself. This one from the first link above:

Tip:

After Installing Photoshop if the app doesn't appear in Photoshop version dropdown, try opening the Photoshop app. This action signals Creative Cloud that the installation is complete

Looking over at Lightroom Queen, this is apparently is handled in /Preferences/ External Editing/

"Edit in PS

In Preferences, you can now choose between the current and Beta versions."

D'OH!

I'd gone to Preferences to try exactly that, but somehow missed the option to specify the beta.

MORE COFFEE!

Thanks very much!

You may want to be on the watchout for others having this problem and assist them. That Adobe documentation is as clear as mud.

Will do, but I'm rarely on the forum.
