Some export operations were not performed

I have the problem "some export operations were not performed" since months now. I updated Adobe LR Classic and since V12.4 i have suddenly (!) the problem that some random number (NOT ALL!) exported images (of the same batch) are not exported. All i get is the message: "some export operations were not performed". Nothing else. This is horrible to work with. Im paying for this product and there is neither a fix nor a valid forum solution anywhere online, since over a year.

Please, Adobe fix this. It has been overdue. Its also not a user mistake or computer settings problem. Same camera, same session, same filetype, same procedure as always. However, some images are randomly exported, others not. IT IS A BUG! FIX IT YESTERDAY!

System: Windows 11, Adobe LR from 12.4 to  13.2, RTX 4070 TI, AMD 7700X, 32GB DDR 5, Samsung 990
PRO, etc.

This worked until last year. Since updating LR the export is not working properly. I followed all the tips and hints found online. NOTHING HELPS! no clean reinstallation, no update, no additional folder permission grants. ITS FRUSTRATING TO WORK WITH LIGHTROOM. Its horrible for creatives. It needed a fix a year ago...

Adobe never resolved this issue. Adobes costumer service didnt help at all and the forum cant provide a solution.

My tip: if you edited the file already in LR and cant export, then rightclick your image in LR and click "edit it Photoshop" (with the LR adjustments). You should be able to export the file from Photoshop. Its no real solution and horrible for a creative workflow, but if u have only 1 image, that should work.
Alternatively, edit your files: with https://www.photopea.com/ > Its a free image editor that works without these issues and you can edit even PSD files.

Adobe never resolved this issue. Customer support was unhelpful, and the forums have no solution.

Quick fix: If you've already edited the file in Lightroom and can't export, try this workaround:
Right-click the image in Lightroom and select "Edit in Photoshop" (including Lightroom adjustments). You should be able to export the file from Photoshop.
This isn't an ideal solution - it's disruptive to a creative workflow - but it can work if you're dealing with just one image.

Alternative: Use Photopea – a free browser-based image editor that supports PSD files and doesn’t have these export issues.

I have not heard back from Adobe to my original posted issue,

Did you attempt to contact ADOBE? Or do you actually mean via this Discussion. This community is for customers to communicate. Actual ADOBE employees rarely interact in it.

Following is my SOP on contacting Adobe.:

____________________________________________________________________________________________

Contact Adobe. This via a Chat. Before doing so, prepare your notes and information ahead of time as to be more efficient in communicating. Your info that you have posted in your Discussion is a start for the description, and probably have a copy of your LrC /Help/System Info/ as a text document on hand, so that you can paste or attach that into the chat.

To accomplish the Chat, bring up an Adobe webpage, and click on the Chat button. (see image below) This will start a Chat. At first the Chat will be with a chatbot, Typing “Agent” into the chat text field will bypass the initial chatbot. If an agent does not enter the chat then be assertive in requesting an actual Adobe Tech join in the chat.

In the Chat include (as mentioned above) a description of the issue, and probably your System Info. And include a link to your discussion.

You may want to ask for a phone call.

And please keep notes so that you can share them in your post for others to see.

For example, bring up:

https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html

and click on the Chat button, typically found in bottom right corner

I have tried to solve this issue by myself for months doing all sort of things that sounded plausible or were suggested, some were described in the initial post. After that, I have talked to Adobe on phone, I have sent detailed descriptions to customerservice (screenshot, from june 2023) and described my Adobes export issue in this post. No solution.

The only way, I can export my work is:

  • identifying manually which file wasnt exported,
  • rightclick such an edited file in LR and choose "edit in PS" and save a copy from there.

Using Adobe with export issues is a bummer for creativity (+costs time & money).
