Tethering with canon eos 40D on lightroom classic 8.0

Hi,

I'm trying to use tethering with my canon eos 40 d into lightroom classic 8.0.

When I do this, lightroom is connecting and regognizing my camera. I can press the button on my laptop so that my camera takes the picture,

but the photo never appears, or is never imported into lightroom or on my pc.

What could be the problem?
