Trying to turn off Auto updates in LR

Hi I received this from Adobe on how to turn off ''auto updates'' as it is no longer in preferences  in creative cloud,  where is account icon after you open LR app?

You received this from Adobe? You would think they would use a capital L in the name "lightroom". I am quite suspicious. It may also be mis-worded, the instructions might work for the Adobe Creative Cloud app and not for any flavor of Lightroom

Besides, this clearly does not describe what to do in the Lightroom app, but in the Creative Cloud app.
