Yes. Your images and the edits are stored in a catalog file that won't get deleted when reinstalling. You might have to point the newly installed classic to the catalog file when you first start it so make sure you know where that is stored on your harddrive. That said, reinstallation rarely solves any problem, so don't expect too much of that.

When you uninstall Lightroom Classic, the application is uninstalled. But that does not delete photos, and that does not delete any of the Lightroom Classic catalog files that contains your edits.
Before you uninstall, it is a good idea to do three things:
1. Back up the computer, so that no matter what happens, nothing is lost.
2. Understand which folder(s) you are using to store your original images. You can find out by looking in the Folders panel. You can also right-click anything in the Folders panel, or any photo, and choose Reveal in Explorer to see where it is on your desktop.
3. Understand which folder you’re using to store your main Lightroom Classic catalog, which contains your edits.
