Please help. I'm barely able to operate LRC because the program is running at a snail speed.
I am running the program on my SSD Drive. Catalog is on my external SSD.
My PC is an i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40 GHx; 32GB RAM.
I am basically at a stop-work situation....importing is OK but anything else is so slow it doesn't make sense to use it.
I have excluded LRC from my virus protection.
Any help would be most appreciated.
Thanks - Dave

I can say you system is very low spec. GTX1070 is going to make you crawl up the walls. Forget using AI denoise and raw processing will be VERY slow. Also your CPU is as fast as a 4th gen I7-4770K for example. To be fair, the CPU would still be "ok" if the GPU would be a lot faster (like an RTX2080TI) If you try editing 50MP RAWS, you are going to suffer, if you edit 20MP RAWs, it might be "ok" to work.

Is this a new setup for you? Did you have a previous setup/computer with better performance?
What is the interface to the external SSD (drive G: I assume) where the catalog is located? USB-C, USB-3, USB-2? Have you tested the speed of that connection?
Is this a laptop? Your info shows 2 video adapters, one with 8GB memory and one with 0GB memory. I'm not sure if the 0GB video is really there. Check in your computer BIOS to see if there are two video adapters in use. If so, disable the 0GB one.

Adapter 2 vendor 1414 device 8c is just the MS Basic Render driver, comes on most/all Windows, used if the GPU fails. Should be of no concern.

Almost all intel CPU's heb iGPU, thats why you will always see 2, but on desktop its never used. The GTX is used for everything, but its just a to old GPU.

Can you share a screenshot of your LrC /Preferences/Performance/

I have to agree with @christophe_7972 , the original poster has a very old and slow CPU and a very old and slow GPU, yes I would expect LrC to be very slow.
