WE NEED A BETA TESTING PROGRAM FOR LIGHTROOM! Too many slow buggy releases. Apple does beta testing for each iteration of iOS, for example. A couple of months before final release they start sending iterations to brave souls eager to test out the new functionality.
I wanted to start a new thread on the issue of beta testing program but I could not figure out how to start a thread on Adobe forums for Lightroom. User friendly NOT.
SO, if any of you can figure out how to start a new thread please copy this to the first note on the thread. Topic of beta test program is different than topic of Lightroom slowdown, though they are of course related.
Thank you.

I'm pretty sure there is a beta testing program for Lightroom. But really, this forum is not the way to address questions to Adobe, as there is no guarantee they are going to read your opinion/suggestion in this forum. If you really want Adobe to hear your opinion/suggestion, go to Photoshop Family Customer Community
As far as figuring out how to start a new thread, it's right there at the bottom of the forum Overview page. It doesn't really get much easier than that.

As Paige says it’s easy to start a new discussion, but I have branched your post to a new thread.

There is one. No beta program can ever cover as many variations of hardware, software and usage as are found in the real world.
You know, I'd be careful about citing Apple as a reference point. I am sure they do have a beta testing program too, but only a week ago I had to update the latest version of OSX for a really bad security problem that they had missed.

I've been on a couple of beta-testing programs with software companies, and one of the problems seems to be that many of the participants are there to find out what is new in the updates/upgrades so that they can update their books/video tutorials/etc. Not so much attention to seeking out bugs and cures.

Hi Bob, I’ve usually found the "educators" are often the most committed in the time they devote to real diagnostic testing; some over many years dating back to LR1. They can be the first to hear of problems from students or readers and therefore have a real stake in ensuring things work well for most users.

It's a reasonable generalisation, Bob, though a generalisation is what it is. In the case of LR7, Adobe actively extended the beta testing circle (perhaps why there were so many leaks!).

Not when it comes to Apple products so that's a poor excuse for Adobe.

Beta Tester: Onboarded, but Adobe Aero Project Team Contact Needed to Proceed
Hi all, I am new here, I have been given this thread link from Adobe directly in an email wrapping up and case I opened with them in customer support chat as a means to look for an answer to my question. I have posted this on the other forum recommended below as well:
I am onboarded in a currently running beta program and need help with a step to proceed. Can anyone point me in the right direction of an inbox where I can contact someone in regard to a currently running beta program I am in? Specifically, I need to contact the Adobe Aero Project Team to request a new Testflight in-app link email to proceed. This is an old thread, I am aware, however, I found my way to this forum through Customer Support chat referral. This is a time sensitive question... I hope someone can respond with ideas. Here is some info regarding:
I was invited into a beta testing program for an as yet unreleased app, Adobe Aero. I finished the onboarding process, but am having trouble with the next step, due to the fact that I have been gobsmackingly busy at work. I have finally been given sanctioned work time for this commitment, however when I went to follow up the process by cracking open that 2-week old second email I found that:
My invitation link inside Apple's Testflight app says my link is expired. It said to contact Adobe for a new one. The emails, however, are originating from a no-reply addy. When asked customer service for a contact for the Adobe Aero Project Team, support chat said they couldn't help me with the beta program. Can anyone point me in the right direction of an inbox where I can contact the Adobe Team to ask for a contact to the Aero Project Team?
Thank you for time and apologies if this is not the best place for this, but Adobe sent this thread in the follow up to my chat.
