This is my second time writing as I changed 'conversation type'and it deleted what I had written. Helpful, not!
When I am in the develop screen scrolling through my pictures at the bottom some of the pictures will automatically have 'White Balance: As Shot' added to the history tab in the navigator panel. It happens as I am scrolling. It is not there before I scroll to the picture. Often happens as I scroll on to the next picture but does not happen to every one. It is annoying because it leaves a mark on the the picture at the bottom to suggest there have been changes. However, I have not made any changes and there is no reason for the program to show some of the photos as white balance as shot as every picture is obviously white balanced as shot from the camera.
I have been unable to find out why this happens and have not been able to find similar issue from others.
Any suggestions?

Your LrC preference file may be corrupt (it happens). Try resetting the preference as decribed in Method 1 at https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/setting-preferences-lightroom.html

I can duplicte this behavior. I looks like a BUG. If I use the arrow keys to QUICKLY scroll through the filmstrip than the issue happens. If I do it fairly slowly it does not happen. I realize this is an old thread but another new thread has an issue with Presets being applied in a similar manner.
