Why Lightroom always re-imports all the photos from iPhone

Hi,

Evertime I import from my iPhone,  Lightroom  identifies all my photos as new even though the photos have been imported already.

A work around is to unselect all the photos and then select only the photos I want to import.

Is there a setting I can flag to fix this?

I would suggest you to reset the preferences of Lightroom.

hold down Alt and Shift (Windows) / Opt and Shift (Mac) while opening Lightroom and it’ll ask whether to reset the preferences. The timing is crucial—hold them down while clicking/double-clicking on the app/shortcut.

This is selected but it still selects all the photos.

I will reimport them all again [1400 photos] and see if they will be selected again the next import.

Hi Priyankas72354167,

I reimported all the photos from my phone [1400 approx.].

It never completed so yesterday photos never go imported.

Now with importing Lightroom says “No photos found”  even with the Don’t Import Suspected Duplicates selected.

Now the problem is that Lightroom has not showing the photos.

I am working on this issue on another thread:
