Dear community,
for a couple of weeks now, lightroom hasn't been able to save backups anymore. I tried a different folder and renaming the catalogue but to no avail.
Recently, it stopped saving changes in my AI masks and the repair tool. A red dot appears and I have to update them whenever I come back to the picture. It's not even that the changes are gone when I close and restart LR. The changes disappear even after editing a different photo and coming back.
Could deinstallining and re-installing fix the problem? I'm kinda nervous doing that since I don't know what else will be lost if I do that.
Thanks for your suggestions!
I work on an iMac from 2017 running on Ventura 13.6.1, 3,4 GHz Intel Core i5, Radeon Pro 570 4 GB.
My Lightroom CC version is 13.1

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Thanks for your reply. I did use that list. Why is my enquiry in the wrong place? And where was it moved? Sorry for the confusion...

Does Lightroom Classic have Full Disk Access in the Privacy and Security section of system preferences?

I'm not home but will check as soon as I get back. But why should it have changed? I never touched the settings and everything was fine until October...
