I'm happy to report that we now have a plug-in for Lightroom that allows publishing to Photoshop.com. Download it here

The potential for problem exists on all versions of Windows. Whether problem manifests, depends on how user elects to extract the content from the downloaded zip.

If contents extracted into folder of same name as zip base (or any folder with .lrplugin extension) - no problem, otherwise: problem.

We're looking into this. Not sure why 10.6.x is stripping off the .lrplugin extension if it's extracted in the downloads folder.

I've answered this problem on another thread:

When you download the plug-in - If you end up with a folder called "PhotoshopDotCom" and not .lrplugin file, simply rename the "PhotoshopDotCom" folder to "PhotoshopDotCom.lrplugin" which will change the folder into a Lightroom plug-in icon file.

I installed it without a problem. I noticed that "Include Video Files" is greyed out. How do I enable that?

We repackaged the PhotoshopDotCom.lrplugin file and posted it this evening. Users shouldn't hit the problem of it extracting as a folder called "PhotoshopDotCom" without the plug-in file called "PhotoshopDotCom.lrplugin" inside.

Here's what you should end up with:

There is a chance that users will unzip PhotoshopDotCom.lrplugin.zip as PhotoshopDotCom.lrplugin, then try to add that (instead of adding the PhotoshopDotCom.lrplugin folder inside). If they do, Lightroom will allow it, but just say "an error occurred while attempting to load this plug-in". Solution: don't do that. (do read the instructions).

When you create a new publish album, there is no option to password protect the album and no option to limit the a user/viewer to that album only. The two features are need for submissions to clients for proofing and final selections. As of now Apple MobileME can do this.

Simple idea. An uploader plugin so that you can upload photos to photoshop.com from Lightroom.

Just in case you didn't spot why your thread was merged, James, that very plug-in is now available from http://www.photoshop.com/products/pho...

I found that the lightroom upload plugin can't export psd files to viewable jpgs.
Need to export them first to jpeg format, reimport them in lightroom to upload them then with the plugin.
Wonder why this works with the third party jF-Facebook plugin, but adobe is not able to convert psd to jpeg?
Please fix that.

You should create a separate "Idea" topic for this request. Thanks.
