iMac, Mac OS X Catalina 10.15.6
Latest version of Lightroom Classic
iPhone 11 with latest iOS

Whenever I import photos from the iPad connected to USB, I am shown the choise to import 2 different versions of each photo, with different aspect ratios.  One with 4032 x 3024, and a second with 4032 x 2268.

Why is this happening?  The second photo looks like a cropped version of the first.

Thanks.

Because whatever Device, Camera, took the images created 2 different aspect ratio files.
