DARK THUMBNAILS IN LIGHTROOM

Hello,

I moved a catalog from an old pc to a new one. When I open it in the new pc all the thumbnails are 100% underexposed (almost black) while if I select a single image it appears normal.

Could you kindly help me to solve the problem?

This is most likely caused by a defective monitor profile, probably delivered by a Windows update.

As troubleshooting, and as a possible temporary fix, try setting the monitor profile to sRGB (use Adobe RGB if you have a wide gamut monitor).

If this fixes the issue, it is recommended that you calibrate the monitor with a hardware calibrator.

This will also create and install a custom monitor profile that describes your monitor accurately.

 

With Lightroom closed, press the Windows key + R, ty

In the future, So people don't have to download the image you have attached, please use the Insert Photos icon found in the Tool Bar of the Post and Reply text entry dialog window as pictured below.
Since you Can't Edit your original post to remove the Attached screen shot Please include the screen shot you attached to a new reply to this conversation by clicking the Blue Reply button under your original post and use the Insert Photos icon in the tool bar.
The Insert Photos icon is this one in the Tool Bar.

Did you also move the folders your images are stored in to the new computer?

The LrC catalog is just a Database file. Your images are NOT IN the catalog file.

Add the sRGB profile, then set it as default.
