I have like over 1000 photos on lightroom classic i want to clean it up
i went to grid view and i can only do backspace delete each photo?
i tried doing all the photos rejected, than command cntrl alt delete and its only deleting 1 photo

there has got to be a way to delete multiple photos, ..i cant imagine a company would produce a software without it.

When you select multiple photos you can then delete them all with Delete key (it will ask you if you want to delete from disk or just reject).

If this doesn't work, try resetting Lightroom

Deleting a file (in your case photo file) requires that the OS update the disk directory for the file. This update has to move the entries for the file from the disk directory to the Trash can (or Recycle bin) directory. This implies several reads and writes to the disk which takes time, especially on a slow disk.

So, it's normal that removing 1000 files takes a lot of time.

Note that you can avoid to move the file to the Trash can which makes the remove faster. But you loose the safety or being able to restore your file.
