Hello,

perhaps anybody have a hint for me if I import the *.arw raw files from sd card (shooted with Sony Alpha 7 III) within the Lightroom workflow.
When the import workflow is done and I siwtch from the library mode to the picture dev mode, I recognize, that all imported RAW files becomes picture by picture adapted in an dark mode. No picture stayed in their origin version.

I can't explain my self what it the reason for that.

In the library mode are the picture still ok, if I change in the dev mode, the pictures will changed. I have to now each picture adapt. I've reset the Lightroom several times, but no changes. I've don't use never ever import settings or profiles or any templates during the import procedure.

It would be nice, if anybody an idea.

Thanks in advance

This is normal. What you first see is the jpeg preview that is embedded within the arw file that the camera generated. Then Lightroom reads the actual raw data and shows you the raw data. The difference between the two is what the camera automatically adjusted in the camera to generate the jpeg preview. The second is the 'actual' raw data interpreted in the default way by Lightroom. If you use any automatic modes in the camera, the camera will do all kinds of processing. One thing is the profile

One thing is the profile you select. Lightroom by default uses Adobe Color, but the camera jpeg is usually better approximated by "camera standard". That assumes that you have not set any HDR, or highlight protection modes in the camera. I think Sony calls this D-R mode
