Lightroom Classic Folder Move Hangs

Trying to move some folders to a different location on the same drive. As soon as I grab the folder on the left navigation frame and start to drag, Lightroom freezes, starts the spinning blue circle, and never comes back. Needs to be killed.

Folder size doesn't seem to matter - 16 photos or 1,000, doesn't matter

LR Classic version 9.4

Windows 10 Pro, Version 10.0.19041 Build 19041

Are there any Subfolders under the Top Level folder?

First thing to try is turn off the GPU option.

Second shut down any other programs that are running.

Just tried this on my system. LrC 9.4, Win 10 1909, i7 CPU from 2012, 16GBs RAM.

Happened almost instantaneously.

Yes, there are subfolders. It used to happen instantaneously for me also.
No more. Have checked catalog, no errors
