I can't import any photos in LR Classic anymore. During the attempted import, the activity monitor notes " Lightroom Classic (not responding)". Then after sometime I get an error message "Your system has run out of application memory".
I'm using a iMac 27 inch 2017
Processor 4,2 GHZ Quad - Core Intel i7
Memory 40 GB 2400 Mhz
2tb internal memory
IOS Catalina 10.5.3
Lightroom Classic v 9.3
Any suggestions to resolve this issue are very welcome!
(Is it true that Abobe truly has not email or phone support to fix these kinds of problems? Their website suggests they do, but it's impossible to find the contact details...)

Adobe has released an update to lightroom 9.4. It contains several bug fixes. Please install the updatre and check again.
Another try is to switch off the GPU support from the Lightroom preferences and check if that helps to fix the issue.
Go to Lightroom > Preferences > Performance tab > Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor" > Restart Lightroom.

Another step is to try to reset the Lightroom preferences.

Thank you for your response! Regrettably none of these steps helped to solve the problem.
Is there anything else that may work?
