Hello,

I just upgraded to the OM D em 10 mark iii. Unfortunately it seems like the raw files are not supported yet. When will the .orf files work with Lightroom?

Kind regards

Martin

Hi All,

Lightroom 6.13 has been released and should be able to open raw images from this camera. Please update your Lightroom to the latest version and let us know if you continue to see the issue. Thank you for your patience.

Refer Lightroom 6.13 now available

No one knows except some of the employees at Adobe, and they never announce these things in advance.

To build on dj_paige's reply: In the past, about 3/4 of new Olympus cameras have been supported in the next release of LR following the announcement of the camera. Since the OM-D E-M10 III was announced on 8/31, there's a very good chance it will be supported in the next release of LR.   See Timing of Lightroom releases.

On average, Adobe has released a new version of CC 2015 / 6 supporting new cameras every 55 days (with a minimum of 35 and a maximum of 89 days).  Since the current version (2015.12) came out on 7/18, we'd have expected a new version around 9/10, no later than mid-October.

However, there are various indications and unreliable rumors that the next major release (CC 2017 / 7?) may be coming out in a few weeks.  So predictions of the next release based on past averages may be even less useful than normal.    We'll just have to keep watching the chimney to see when the black smoke changes to white.

Yes, many links from 2017 have gone, as have the public Adobe downloads for older versions.
