The past couple of LR releases since September have been reaaaallllllly slow to start. I get that there's the annoying lag when external drives come online after sleeping, but this is different. The drives aren't powering up first - there's just a long delay (around a minute) before LR 'allows' me to start working. Before that it's frozen or something.
