My lightroom is not working properly. When it is launched it loads up properly but the moment you choose an album and launch it to be edited it gets stock. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing seems to be happening. What can I do to get get it working properly.

The first step is to tell us more about your envirnment.
-Which version of Lightroom do you use?
-Which operating system do you use?
Please post the exact version and not phrases as "latest" or "newest".
-Do you get any error messages? If yes, please post the exact message or post a screenshot.
In the meantime you can try to deactivate the GPU support from the Lightroom preferences and check if that helps to fix the issue.
Go to Lightroom > Preferences > Performance tab > Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor" > Restart Lightroom.

Are you using LR Cloud Centric or LR Classic, the traditional version of LR?
Your use of the word Album leads me to think you are using the Cloud Centric version called just Lightroom. As there are no Albums in LR Classic.
