Hi alll,
I'm trying to rescue some lost photos by extracting the previews from my library, per this article and script.
https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/extract-previews-for-lost-images-lightroom.html
The script appears and I can use it, however when I select a folder of previews -- over 500 -- it returns only five photos into the folder. I can see each preview, zoom in, etc. The previews appear every time I launch lightroom.
Has anyone had this problem? Is there a different way to extract previews?
Thanks in advance.

I've downloaded the script and installed on my Lr Classic (latest version).
Despite what I can read on the page, it seems it works only if 1:1 preview exists for a photo.
If I delete 1:1 previews and then I run the script nothing is created.

I found an alternative plugin that seems to be working.

It's called something like, Jeffrey's Lightroom Preview Extract.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the link.
It's my understanding it only works with smart-previews. Correct?

I've found this one from the same author and it works also with non-smart previews:
