Can I live-stream from FMS in MP3 format directly to iTunes/WinAmp

Hello, we used to have an icecast server which took our live radio streams to the web by way of mp3 streaming and m3u files (containing the http URL to the streaming server's mp3 stream) would be downloaded and launched by the likes of iTunes/WinAmp and played in that 3rd party app.

Is it possible to do this with FMS? Play the MP3 stream with a program like iTunes? Right now I have the streams being played by an embedded "JW Player" on a web page, but I don't necessarily want to limit people to an embedded player.

Any tips on where I can find more information about how to set this up? Thanks very much.

If anyone else disagrees, please, please, please, say something. The Adobe support guy that I ta...

Does my question make sense? I had the impression that FMS would serve an MP3 formatted stream, but I'm having a very hard time finding any documentation about what the URL would be for someone to connect to that stream if it's done through the "live" application... Does anyone have an example of what that should look like?
