When a DVR stream finishes publishing, can you use the cached file as a VOD?

Where is the DVR file stored?

DVR is nothing but record-in-progress file , so once you finish publishing, the recorded file can be used just like any other VOD. DVR file is stored where your VOD files would be stored. Basically there is nothing like DVR file - DVR is just a functionality which gives you power of live and flexibility of VOD, ti gives you feeling of live but basically its recording in progress and since its gettting written to disk , you can pause and seek over it. Hope this answers your question.
