f4v encoding?

We use Adobe Media server 5 to stream content to mobile devices. Our encoding workflow is designed around Adobe Media Encoder. Recently, we upgraded our encoding workstation to CC 2015 and found out that the included versions of Media Encoder do not support F4v encoding. I can't express the level of disappointment that we feel at this move by Adobe. We have invested $200,000 to build a workflow around adobe media server / media encoder. What are we supposed to do now?

I would do 2 things:

1) Complain to Adobe Media Encoder team to FIX this problem. It is a problem for a lot of people and they need to hear it.

2) In the meanwhile - download an older version of AME that allows the production of teh formats you require. It can exist alongside the 2015 releases.

Thank you for your reply Joseph.

Before writing the initial post earlier this morning, we went through the hassle of installing all the different versions of After Effects and Premiere Pro but the only available previous version of AME is CC 2014 ver 8. I don't know why, maybe we are doing smth wrong, but we could not get an earlier version of AME.

What makes this more troubling for us, is that we were not even asked if we wanted to keep the previous versions of the apps. The update just removed them and all the preset that we had configured.  In the past we have always kept a working copy of AME just in case smth went wrong with the update. This time around, CC 2015 did not allow for versions to co exist along side as some articles recommend....not earlier versions of AME other than CC 2014 ver 8.

This whole thing feels wrong at so many levels I can't even describe it. We used to be big believers of Adobe but we are starting to feel that choosing Adobe as our technology partner was the wrong thing and we are looking at other technology providers.

Yes, Adobe hid the option to keep older versions of the apps under "advanced options" upon installation. It has bit  more than a few people...

If AME CS6 isn't showing up - perhaps install Premiere Pro CS6 and it will install the corresponding AME version?

Tried Premiere Pro CS6...did not make a difference. Only AME CC 2014 ver 8 avaiable from previous versions.
